Amelia Earhart Fund
The Fellowships are granted annually to women pursuing graduate PhD/doctoral degrees
in aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering. 

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Program
supports women preparing for careers in business management. This award is given to students
who have achieved an outstanding academic record during the first two-three years of academic studies
and have volunteered their time for community life. 

YWPA – Young Women in Public Affairs
The Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Program encourages
young women to participate in public and political life.

• UNICEF: in Rwanda to prevent HIV mother-to-child-transmission ($ 600.000)
• UNIFEM: in Guatemala and El Salvador to make cities safer for women ($ 600.000)
• UNFPA (population fund): in Liberia to reduce Obstetric Fistula ($ 450.000)
• ZISVAW: combat violence in Cambodia ($ 300.000)
• Combating Physical Violence Against Women and Supporting the Implementation
  of Protective and Anti-Discriminatory Laws and Policies in Egypt ($ 200.000)

• financial support of single mothers and teenage pregnancies
• support of a discussion group for alcoholic women
• improvement of language ability in early childhood
• private tuition for pupils in the Pforzheim part of town ‚Unteres Enztal’
• sponsorship of food for pupils at the ‘Inselschule Pforzheim’
  (primary school and secondary modern school)
• ‚Kulturhaus Osterfeld’ – a sociocultural centre (theatre, concerts etc.)
• installation of rooms for social care at the ‘Grund- und Hauptschule Brötzingen’
  (primary school and secondary modern school)
• financial support for the ‘Vesperkirche Pforzheim’, a church organisation
  providing free meals and shelter for homeless people
